hey there, I'm grae!
I use stories to transform, heal, and inspire the world around us.
I founded Mayke to take the limits off.
Mayke is a comic studio telling diverse, inclusive stories in the fantasy and superhero genres for young adult to adult audiences.
When I’m not developing fantasy worlds and creating superheroes, the need to see diversity and inclusion follows me in the real world, too.
I help organizations build inclusive work cultures that bring out the superhero in each of their employees.
On the creative side, I shape brand stories that align and empower an organization’s staff from the inside. Then, on the outside, I create human, visual narratives and designs that impact a brand’s audience and business goals.
Bottom line, I’m a visionary who sees what the future can be. Then, I figure out the best way to bring those futures into the present using the following skills and tools:
Creative direction
Concept Development
Storytelling
Strategic Thinking
Design Thinking
Leadership
Mentoring and coaching teams and organizations to a promising end.
